“Think 31st century neo tokyo meets F-Zero,” was the instruction from my all-time favorite video team, WATTS. Tripp and Jenna requested “pretentiously tall” futuristic, modern skyscrapers and various minimal shapes and elements–Which they again colorized and transformed into an entire universe. I am still re-watching this and noticing new ways these drawings show up in the catchy, official music video for “Every Time I Touch You” by Metrostation.
